#HP PAVILION DV6 6135DX BEATS AUDIO SOFTWARE SOFTWARE#
I loaded up Ableton Live, Adobe photoshop, and various productivity software and it does what it needs to. The area around the mousepad and the power and wireless buttons also have LED accented lighting. It is one of HP's dark brushed aluminum, with a small glowing white HP logo on top. But the first thing that struck me about this thing is how "sexy" this laptop looks. Pros: I am a functionality > appearance guy. Just don't expect to be playing BF3 on it with maxed graphics. I would say if you are looking for something to travel with that can play some games this thing is the best deal out there right now. Overall Review: BlueRay drive is a bonus though i'm not sure if I will ever use it. I won't deduct a egg for the slower multi-tasking ability though because I knew what I was buying before my purchase as I did a lot of research on this laptop before comitting to buy. My desktop has a 6 core in it though so this little lower end quad core does not compare. This thing also has some the best speakers I have ever experienced on a laptop! 6GB of DDR3 is plenty so I didn't bother to add more, but the option is always there as it will support 16GB (2x8GB)Ĭons: The only issue I have seen really is that multi-tasking is a bit slugish. Loaded up Battlefield Bad Company 2 which also runs at the laptops max resolution on High settings (with AA and Anistropic filtering turned down or you will get lag when things are destroyed).

Loaded up some Steam based games and everything runs great on High settings.

The laptop is pre-setup with the 2 video cards in crossfire. This thing has a Radeon 6620M installed on the same chip as the CPU (AMD calls it an APU). I looked at some i5 laptops in the same price range and they all had poop for graphics. Pros: First off I must say this thing has some incredible specs for it's price range.
